We are professional innkeepers who work together on innsitter assignments to provide you with a worry-free opportunity to get away from your bed and breakfast. It is important to hire an innsitter whom you can trust. Whether you need a short break, have an emergency situation, or need someone to take care of things for an extended period of time, you can count on us to handle your innsitting or interim innkeeper needs.

The experience we have gained operating our own successful bed & breakfast, as interim innkeepers (innsitters) , and as B&B consultants has given us the knowledge we need for our innkeeper services, so that we can step in and run your bed and breakfast, your way.
Our mission is to ensure that your inn continues to operate at the same standard of excellence that you provide when you are there. You can feel comfortable leaving your property in the care of experienced, trustworthy innkeepers.

Your Business will be INN CARING HANDSWe pride ourselves on our attention to detail and will care about your B&B, and your guests, as if they were our own. Your income stream will continue while you are away, and you won’t miss any future reservation opportunities. We are available for assignments as inn sitters or interim innkeepers throughout the United States, Canada, and in other English-speaking countries. We are non-smokers and love dogs and other animals (sorry no indoor cats due to allergies). Besides innkeeping, we have experience hosting teas, weddings, meetings, and other special events. We are extremely flexible in adapting to each inn. Rates and services are based upon the inn's size and requirements.

Relax on VacationBecause of our knowledge and background, we are able to help and guide those new innkeepers who need some bed and breakfast consultant help. We are also skilled in setting up computerized reservation or accounting systems and in the development of a marketing program through the use of the Internet.

We love to encourage others to become involved in the wonderful world of Innkeeping. Having covered the "inns" and outs of the business from the ground up, our program for aspiring innkeepers or interim innkeepers (inn sitters) will take away the mystery of how everything is done.

Here are some reasons why a bed and breakfast owner should hire a professional innsitter or interim innkeeper when they need to be away from their bed and breakfast.

  1. You would have someone who can step in when you have an emergency situation and must leave or if you are sick and can not run your operation.  The professional interim innkeeper already knows the basics of how to run a bed and breakfast and can continue to do things your way so your guests will continue to get the great service you provide.
  2. You would have someone present to answer the phone in a professional manner so as not to lose future reservations as well as be there to take care of your guests who already have reservations.
  3. You would have someone who knows how to listen to what the guest wants and sell them the rooms and special packages that fit their needs.
  4. You would have a real vacation where the you don't have to carry the reservation book, check emails and phone messages or worry about an unplanned emergency situation that arises at the bed and breakfast when no one is there to handle the problem.
  5. You would keep occupancy and revenue up, especially when the bed and breakfast is for sale and every guest counts.
  6. You would be able to maintain the security of the property as well as feed the inn's animals so that they don't have to be put in a kennel.

Upcoming Bed and Breakfast conferencesare a great way for those who are interested in the B&B industry to meet and network with large groups of experienced innkeepers and vendors.   Below are some conferences which are coming up in the next few months.  They would be of interest to either aspiring innkeepers or inn sitters.   However, attending a conference will not be enough if you truly are interested in entering this field of work.  You should still take a hands on class to see what the lifestyle is really like.

  Montana B&B Conference - Whitefish, MT   Apr 7-9, 2013

Minnesota B&B Conference & Trade Show Minneapolis, MN April 22-24, 2013
